Religions in modern life
The world as we know it has many religions in different parts of the world. Some say Hinduism (founded around 15-5th century BCE) is the oldest religion. Time to time there has been many religions in this world, which is founded by the humans itself. Religion is a concept, which tries to explain the unknowns. None can prove it, but it goes with belief and faith. People who believes it embrace it and the ones who don't reject and criticise. All the religions try to explain the mechanism in life, in certain aspect. The core of any true religion should be timeless which can be applied at any given time.
If you are open minded to explore and see things clearly, then you start to challenge some facts in the religion you believe. If that religion can explain your questions your belief gets stronger. Many religion after certain point, it goes with the faith and experiences. Unless you have experience or faith your belief would dissolve. In deep down every human being is searching for something. Something which completes him, in the form of religion and modern day in the form of science people are searching for happiness.
Rebirth conspiracy
In this exercise, we are trying to disprove the rebirth conspiracy. The outcome of this exercise may perspective. If a person only lives once in this world, every human being should have salvation with in his life span. Im going to take a person who met with an accident and it made him crippled, deaf and blind. So basically 2 out of 5 of his senses are cut off. Now he cant do any charity, he cant listen or read any form of religious teaching. Well my question is does he have salvation? This type of accident can be happen to anyone in this world. So basically the example I took in this exercise can be any random person.
Now this person's link with the physical world is almost broken. He cant do much activities in the physical world. His whole world is now the world he sees through his mind. So now I'm brining up two facts to salvage this man. Either he should be reincarnation or the path to salvation is in his mind. From these two facts both of them can be true, but not vise versa. Either of them supposed to be true. If we take reincarnation is false, then the answer for his salvation is within in himself. It's not in the outside world. It's with in himself.
If the path to salvation lies in this physical world then he should be given another chance. Then I realize some people born in that way, crippled, mutated and deformed. Thinking over and over made me finally realize that both of these points are true. The path to salvations lies beneath yourself. It's the "Mind". This is the very basic level of spiritual awakening. Then you start to find answers with in yourself. In that journey Budda's teaching as a philosophy has answers to all of your questions, many knows buddhism as a religion but only very few experienced it. Very few in the sense, I might say 1000 out of 8,000,000,000. What are the odds? Most unfortunate point is that many of those teachings spread across the Asian countries, where very few contents are converted to English. This is a simple effort to spread the word across the world.
